About The Project

We are excited to invite motivated youth workers, educators, and youth leaders to take part in the Erasmus+ Training Course “Explore, Learn, Empower”, which will be held in Porto Moniz, Madeira Island, Portugal, from 2nd to 10th November 2025 (including travel days).

This Mobility of Youth Workers (Professional Development Activity) will bring together participants from Portugal, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, France, Estonia, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Türkiye. The project is hosted by Associação Ramifica (Portugal) and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

About the Project

“Explore, Learn, Empower” is designed to equip youth workers with the tools of Outdoor Adventure Education (OAE), combining theory and practice through non-formal learning. The program includes indoor workshops, practical sessions, and a two-day outdoor expedition in nature.

Through experiential learning, participants will:

• Develop leadership, facilitation, and teamwork skills.

• Gain practical tools for inclusive youth work.

• Strengthen intercultural understanding and community engagement.

• Build long-lasting connections with youth workers across Europe.

Who Can Apply?

• Active in youth work (volunteers, educators, or staff).

• Strong interest in outdoor education and non-formal learning.

Costs Covered

• 100% of accommodation and meals during the program.

• Travel costs reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance guidelines (upon submission of tickets and participation in all activities).
