Aim of this youth exchange is increasing participants’ awareness towards the role of the gender balance and equality in Youth Work and providing them with necessary insight and education tools for a gender-sensitive approach to human rights education within their work and their communities.
The objectives of this youth exchange are:
- To develop participant’s knowledge and understanding on various concepts related to gender issues and emphasize the importance of gender equality in youth work and how it can be put into practice;
- To develop the understanding of the role of gender and equality in youth work;
- To build capacities of our partner organizations to deal with Gender Equality topic
- To train youth workers in gender awareness and anti-discriminatory practices;
- To improve networking amongst local youth workers at grass root level; sharing best practice of gender related activities;
- To learn about gender equality and share / compare the realities in EU countries.
