Results

The 'Voicehood youth' project, implemented within the Erasmus+ program and co-financed by the Swedish National Agency, has achieved success in engaging and educating young people on critical social issues through the Youth Squad podcast series. By exploring topics such as human rights, gender equality, active participation and European multiculturalism/inclusion and diversity, we have empowered young voices to contribute to societal change and foster a more inclusive and equitable community.

Key outcomes:

· The podcast series has significantly raised awareness about crucial social issues among young people, providing them with knowledge and insights to better understand and address these topics in their communities;

· The project successfully engaged a diverse group of young individuals, encouraging them to actively participate in discussions and share their perspectives on various issues, thereby promoting active citizenship;

· Through interviews and discussions, the podcast series highlighted diverse perspectives and experiences, enriching the dialogue on human rights, gender equality, active participation and inclusion;

· Participants and listeners have developed critical thinking, communication, and media literacy skills, enabling them to articulate their views and engage in informed debates,

· The project has had a positive impact on local communities by fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect for diversity, contributing to social cohesion and understanding.
